hello folks,can someone please tell me the way the starter relay is hooked to battery? its a 2006 550 im unsure if the starter cable goes to top or bottom connector on the starter relay?? thanks in advance

Battery goes to relay or solenoid. Solenoid or relay goes to starter. Start switch activates a pass through making the battery put power direct to starter.

not really but cheers anyway! i was unsure as to which lug on the relay goes to battery and or starter,i had a stab in the dark and it appears to be bottom lug to starter.its my first berg and a first rebuild and its been months since i dismantled (plenty of tequila in between).in the end starter is **** but it kicked well!!now after my slip up with clutch slave cylinder i have to do some more shopping and waiting....
