Starter problems

I have a different starter problem - i think!
Forgive my english, iÃ‚Â´ll try my best: the starter engine runs like crazy, but dosnÃ‚Â´t engage with the engine, so it wonÃ‚Â´t turn the engine - but only when itÃ‚Â´s cold. There are no problems when itÃ‚Â´s hot, and no problems starting it with a kick. The automatic decompresser has been removed.
ItÃ‚Â´s a 501S from 05.
Any suggestions?

Try holding the manual decompressor lever on the handle bar open when starting the engine cold. Hold it open just long enough for the starter to start spinning the engine and then close it to allow the engine to start.

this was a common problem on the earlier bikes from 01-03. the sprague bearing is worn and a new one is required. the bike will start fine when warm on the electric start.

please start by foot with the manual decomp. this is all i have (manual decomp) i'm sure you know how to start the bike like this. any problems holla out loud!

Are you sure its a 2005 501? 450 or 550 perhaps.

I forgot, no manual decompresser either!! IÃ‚Â´ve tried to twist the arm on the top of the engine, but it makes no difference :?

Well, since you have no manual decomp either, you will have to use the boot, when cold or install a decomp. Do you have manuals and parts lists? The least expensive way to add decomp will depend on how much of the original equipment is still on your bike.

Yes there exists a 05 FE501S "Force Edition" . There is strange that a so new model have problems with the starter.
What grade of oil you are using to?
Try a good brand on the grade of 15W50, I suppose this solves your problem. Or these ones:

Is it a -05 or a -04? The only information about the Force Edition at Husaberg is dated -04.
