Oh and I changed from Motul Synthetic to Castrol RX Super which, depending on who you listen to is probably the wrong thing to do. Now done 75hrs on the RX, all seems good and I have no plans to do a strip down yet.... If it aint broken dont fix it.
Craigy said:21 is the torque limiter, goes between the starter and the sprag clutch. Used to be solid but this caused a bunch of damaged clutch baskets. It prevents excessive torque from being transmitted through the starter system and damaging gears. The KTMs have used a similar device since 2006 as they were tearing teeth off the intermediate starter gear.
