Starter motor blanking plug

I have ditched the starter motor off my 650 as I'm running without a battery. I found a blanking plug in the box of spares I got with the bike. But, I cant find the bracket that fits on the rear of the blanking plug to keep it in place. Has anyone got a picture of how its fixed so I can duplicate it.
Cheers

I dont think there is a bracket, but just a screw that holds it in. It's been awhile since I seen one. I think the shoulder of the screw/screws holds it to the case.

Hi guys!

I'm thinking of eliminating the starter on a 2002 650 FE. Will this bike run without a battery and all the starter stuff? Or do I need the battery still hooked up?

Thanks!

welcome to the site, technut. you should have started a new thread.
but, yes it will do without the battery. if you run lights, just use the voltage regulator and run them ac. get a starter plug. they are listed in the parts breakdown. just leave the internal gears as they are.
