starter is not working

My starter will crank the motor only once or twice then it will free spin it usually never starts, even when is worm. its been getting worse and worse tell now it wont start with the starter at all. is it the sprague?
 
HI

It is the starter clutch, check Taff for the cure.

I've order one Kit but not yet received, you can try owners docs and check for the cure and do it yourself.

Yes, as Zaga states, it sounds like the starter clutch has gone. Mine went & I was able to fix it by buying a repair kit from "Taffy". Search him out & he will sort you out with one.

I heard motors turn over easier in high altitude.....say in CO. :cheers:
