Starter gear bearings

Hello!
Is it ok to leave the small needle bearings in engine case when i remove the starter gears?
It`s my "new" -03 450 engine and i have no experience of those modern engines ;- )

Hi Jampe,

you should be fine leaving those bearings in with the gears out, they are really difficult to get out (have to be destroyed) so aren't likely to come out on their own.

Hi Jampe on mine I put silicone inside the bearings just in case
