hi lads
think this problem may have happened to someone else before but got me stumped.bike is a 2003 fc550.just had top end rebuild and fired it up a few weeks ago and running fine.havent changed anything but now starts 1st kick with choke on runs for about 3 seconds then stops.if i keep kicking it may start again but does the same runs for up to 3 secs then stops.have had the carb off [dellorto]cleaned it out tried different plug but all is the same.

im going to put fcr carb on which was running with last year before decompressor snapped on cam hence rebuid.i put the dellorto on after rebuild because i knew bike started ok with this as was trying to set up fcr when decomp broke.if it does the same then will look else where but any ides would be great thanks
 
Check all the usual fuel supply issues. Tank breather clear, fuel taps clean, unobstructed fuel lines, clean fuel filter if fitted, float needle and seat unobstructed, float bowl clean.
