It's a common occurance on alot of Bergs. I don't think it's anything to concern yourself about. It seems the clutch plates can get alittle dry.
One thing you can try is to lay the bike over on the left side overnight with the clutch lever pulled in. That should give them a good soak. I have never tried it myself but heard it works sometimes.

Yes, this is a known issue. Don't worry about it and enjoy the grin time.

I have an 04 and it only does it every once and a while.
