Squeak from front brake

Recently picked up an 2011 FE 390, overall everything is great, just one tiny thing bothering me.. the front brake!

It isn't a squeal as such, it isn't there all the time, its when I'm on the brakes at say >60% of the brakes full force and having slowed down to around 25-30km/h. If i grab a fist full of brake to slow down from say 60-40 it won't squeak just coming up to a stop. Ive pulled the pads off and cleaned them up, the disc appears to be in good condition, pistons adequately lubed. Anything else i can try? New pads perhaps?

P.s this being more first 'real' dirt bike i can't compare effectiveness of the brakes with other bikes but they do seem quite powerful, just the noise is really loud and quite annoying.

Regards.

A certain material pads squelch no matter what, if the pads aren't worn out and the disc is in good condition, all you can do is to change the padd or put up with the noise, it doesn't necessarily mean something's wrong.

If i were to change the pads, am i best off sticking with brembo pads? Ive been doing some research and feredos seem to be quite good too.

you cxan buy pads with stainless steel anti-squeel backing plates. not sure where but I would think that the Brembo importer would know.

don't ask what they do! it's in the name!

Try any pad that is sintered. I have this into every corner and heat is the only reason I have found. They still work good but sometimes noisy. This can also be from glazing a common problem with auto brakes. They polish the rotor and bingo lots of noise.
