Speedo won't work on new brake disc

I can't afford a new Beringer disc so purchased an EBC but even though I have adjusted the sensor for the speedo, it still won't pick up the speed.
Any help would be much appreciated

Ok, any magnet should work shouldn't it?
Does it have to be in line with the sensor? As the pre drilled part of the disc wouldn't be in line with the sensor
Thanks btw

You might be able to remove and re-use the one in your old disc. If you search for motorcycle speedo magnets (or similar) you will see some options. They are usually 10mm dia. with a groove for a circlip to hold them in place. And yes, it needs to be pretty close to being in line with the sensor. You can always try one in the pre drilled location and see it if triggers the speedo when you rotate the wheel.
