Speedo Calibration

Went for a ride with a friend and we both came up with different speeds and Odometer readings......Not knowing which one was reading incorrectly I fitted a GPS and it was mine.....Reading aprox 5% too fast.

I checked the wheel size upon startup and its set to the correct WS (2205) and the front tyre is a 90/90-21

Is there any way to calibrate the speedo to correct it??

and it has been all PLEASURE and not a hint of pain!

I remember 15 years ago some coppers son got his dad to speed gun him on his dirt bike and they came up with 2m and 5cm with a 21". this was the nearest thing to accurate.

....and then they wore the knobblies down and it was all wrong again!!!!

Thanks for the link.......I found the problem was the tyre circumference was out by a mile. The book says 2205 and the actual measurement was 2085

Reset the tyre circumference as per the instructions and tried it on the weekend with a GPS for reference and the speedo was spot on

Good to hear that it worked.
That Warp 9 Racing instruction is really easy to under stand
