Hi all, Sparks wife here
Don't know if i can do this but sparks doesn't know i am so it's not his fault.

Just to let you know that a Spanish driver in his infinate wisdom decided to indicate left and turn right thus knocking Sparks of his Pride and Joy. He is ok and in the hospital, he is chomping at the bit to get out and start doing some work.
Hopefully he will be out on Friday, I will be printing out any well wishing messages for him keeping his spirits up as he isn't allowed spirits (i.e) Bacardi in there!!!!

Cheers to all

Mrs Sparks

Hopefully you were not the one that rewound the turn signal flasher that caused the Spanish driver to signal the wrong direction :)

Get well soon Sparks!

Eric

Mrs. Sparks,

Please give Mr. Sparks a message that Mr. & Mrs. kzoo have him in our thoughts and prayers. Hopefully the pain of the eminent hangover (not that you would sneak some hooch in to him) is worse then the pain from the fall.

Glad to see he is feeling well.

Get well soon sparks!

Jason

P.S. Now that we know he is ok, more importantly; how is the bike?

All the Best Sparks , Get Well Soon !!! With riding season upon us SEMs will be failing all about the globe

Mrs. Sparks,

Please tell Steve that DaleEO said hi and that I hope he is feeling better soon.

I can send round some American whiskey if necessary to help with the pain and recovery.

How does that old cold remedy go........ Something about putting your hat on the bed post and taking two fifths of whiskey to bed with you, drink until you see two hats instead of one, and then just enough to keep it that way. When you're all out of whiskey and you sleep it all off and wake up you'll be right as rain.

Dale

Glad to hear he will be OK. Hopefully his injuries won't keep him off the bike for too long.

Best wishes from us here on UHE

Hope you end up with just enough scars to remember it proudly, not so many as to carry it as a legacy.

Get back in the saddle ASAP. If you leave it too long it becomes too easy to leave it in the shed.

All the best, BW.

Hope your back in the saddle soon Sparky. Think of the recovery time as a extended UHE session.
Good Luck and a complete speedy recovery

Hi Steve.

Your wife did not include any broken bones in the report so that is good, VERY good.

Hopefully you just have some bruises and some skin rash. It will hurt, but will grow back .

Hurry back, and ride safe!

Best regards,

Joe

So it's Friday sparks, did you make it out of the hospital alright? I assume that the Mrs. had a 5th of Bacardi waiting for you. :drinking: :puke:

Hi All,

Well I've finally got out just today, what can I say thanks to all you lads that made comment, slower bike Taffy I was only doing 20mph and as for a scar to remember well I think it's going to be a big one.
I severed the tendon just below the kneecap which required a bit of surgery and in stead of sewing up the wound I have stapled it back together with 30 steel staples.
But I will be back to to my bench come Monday even though I have got to wear this half cast for another two weeks.
As for the Berg bearly a mark on it apart from when it went in the concrete storm channel it caught the left folk
slider and has put a large flat on it so that needs replacing and apart from that there is no scratches or nothing.

Regards

Sparks.

good to have you back mate. just pleased that as an average - that one could have been worse!
