I have a 2001 fx-650 that has been a pig to start since day one. I recently had my stock stator rewound by sparks. Yesterday i went out for a test ride, it was 40 degrees F. I kicked thru with choke on a few times, shut off choke , found tdc and she started FIRST kick. This bike has never done that! I started bike a few times thruout the day and it was a one kick affair. I am blown away. this bike is crazy fast and now it STARTS. If it started like this all along i might not have got an 06 650. Any way thanks a lot Sparks!!! money well spent.

I had same problem last week (What caused not completed competition in Shropshire), and I've found that I've bad spark (veeeeeeeery weak).Few days ago I've sent my stator to Sparks.Now, when I'd read all that, I know that It was right move. Now, I'm just wait for stator and hope I can say same things like wooleyberger! Sparks, you are a hero!!!
I too can vouch for sparks, his rewound stator turned my old 600 into a new bike. Also provided brilliant service and support from the other side of the globe!
