As above
The cap, I'm guessing has been changed at some point or even the coil all together
Any ideas what k ohm plug cap I would need, the one on there is 5k ohm but I don't know if its right

Hi, I'm guessing the supressor cap is the type that takes the thick tip spark plug, not sure if there is a correct name for it, and probably you have got the thin tip spark plug. Some spark plugs come with the thick tip, about 5mm or so, which just screws off and leaves a thin tip of about 3mm. So you either have to look at the thick/thin tips there, or the suppressor cap is completely worn out and needs to be replaced.

Regarding the ohm rating of the supressor, I cannot say which is preferable, I have found some bikes with 5Kohm and others with 10Kohm and they both seem to work fine, or I'm just too dumb to notice a differance.

Maybe in certain applications, like using high compression and race fuels, it might make a more noticeable differance..?
