Sorry guys, but I had to show you.

I say why not? Diesel dirt bikes are out there, they are not super fast but there is not a lot they cannot climb. Four-stroke dirt bikes were seen as a joke 20 years ago. So why not diesel (or biodiesel) powered bikes eventually?

"The team are using a Yanmar L100AE (with an excellent power to weight ratio) and a Husaberg frame which has been subjected to substantial modifications."

Hahaha.  The YanMar has a max power output of 10HPs.

At least it will not dig ruts and bang berms. Good luck

Heheheh thats my mates bike, even his numbers and all I heard a uni bought it but was unsure of what they were doing with it.

Oh picture that, a screaming detroit (Jimmy) diesel in a motorcycle. So that would be about 105 bda at idle and 120 dba while riding, oh yea, and leaking oil all the way!

I have no doubt, if they had to ,Honda could make a decent bio-deisel
dirt bike.Look what they said about 4 stroke mx bikes 20 years ago.
