i live in australia and am thinking very hard about buying a new 05 450e.
i rode the Husaberg, Ktm back to back and found the Husaberg alot better to ride,,(but you all new that) :D :D :D

i was told by dealer that Husaberg are Ktm , he also told me that i can go and by a piston and rings ect from a Ktm dealer for the Husaberg.how true is this?
here the European bike parts are alot dearer than japas,,

are the parts for Husaberg naturally dear?

thanx :?:

Re: hey guys,,,

i have had many japanese bikes i have found that the consumables are a lot cheaper, the plastics are a lot cheaper for my berg. i also bought a cam chain and cam chain guide for 05 and they were dirt cheap . but i also know that when you get into the major parts they are not cheap.
and i also know that jap major parts are not cheap, and once you get converted by the FORCE there is no turning back

You know it will be a while before you need a top-end job.

I don't know about the interchangeability of parts but you can ask your dealer how long it will take to order such or such parts and I guess that Husaberg parts can piggy-back with KTM parts to Australia, so, yes, it should make them more available.

Download the parts manual from www.husaberg.se, call a dealer and ask how long and how much, just to see.

And yes, the Berg parts now come in KTM box with KTM part numbers (they look a bit like an IP address).
