As I posted the beloved berg(390) was stolen in a home invasion after the Christchurch earthquake.I had just drained the oil and replaced the bung so hopefully the mug started and seized it. I am not replacing with berg and going to 2 stroke(probably gasgas 300) because i loved the berg ,but to disheartend to buy another and go through the hours of set up and extra parts.Need a new start.
Have been served well by the forum so I am offering some parts left behind to forum members
Have:
Plastic wash cover for air box (for when filter is off)
Wash covers for fuel line for when dissconnected, invaluable these
the standard plastic bash plate
indicators and rear tail set up

3 spare air filters
390 manual

The deal is give a good story(true) about your situation and why you deserve these parts more than others. If I pick you send a PM with your address and we will work out the postage, you pay me the postage and there all yours

Hey Husapye, heres my attempt to grab 1 iridium plug and 1+ air filter\s from your stash, for my 2010 FE390... :D

Last weekend I rode single track in a 11,000 hectare forest with two mates, one on a TTR250 and another on a DRZ400, and we came to a deep and wide water crossing I was familiar with. On a prior trip I couldn't cross it on my other bike, a Husky TE610 as the air intake is too low and had to walk it in shame with the bike tilted on its side to avoid water intake.

We since had many days of rain and it was extremely deep. Now that I had the Berg with its high air filter location, I didn't hesitate and bolted into the deep realm - the water was actually waist deep and I had *ss pucker moments as I went deeper and deeper into the abyss. I survived, and so my riding buddies followed.

My friend on his DRZ400 wasn't so lucky and totally submerged his yellow submarine 8O . We pulled his bike out, tipped it upright to drain the water from the exhaust, took the plug out, tipped the bike totally upside down and water poured out the cylinder. We drained the airbox and squeeze dried the air filter - my hands were a yucky oily mess and I stank of petrol as we turned over the bike - a jet of watery fuel shot from the spark plug hole into my face.

My friend had a spare plug, and we, to my surprise, given the extent of the drowning, we managed to restart the bike. Since being home its taken him 4 plus oil changes and its still a yucky mess.

I realised that if that was me, I would be in trouble as we were so remote, I had no spare plug at all, and having a spare air filter scrunched up in the back pack would save me the mess of drying and cleaning the existing one. I need a spare plug, and air filters are just damn handy to have to swap out as I hate cleaning these things even in the comfort of my own garage.

Wish me luck in the begging contest
