Where do you ride in SoCal when it rains? The motocross tracks shut down (milestone, elsinore), and I have heard rainy season means unltimate riding. I have yet to go do it! I ride up in the San Berdoo nat'l forest, johnson valley, el mirage, ocotillo wells, stoddard, but these places get slimy when it rains. Where is the magical soil that gets nice and tacky when it gets wet? I am JONESIN to ride my 'berg now that I replaced the cam followers, but it's gonna rain this weekend. Please help this fellow 'berg lover to find that spot to ride this weekend in SoCal!

Oak hills (Cajon pass area) is good when wet. It's pretty sandy, and the big hill climb is fun when wet. There's a staging area just above Cajon Junction where HWY 138 crosses I-15. Be sure your bike is Ca legal though, a ranger gave my buddy hell once because his YZF was a "red" sticker bike and it was the wrong season. :roll:
