may have told a feww of you before but i race in east anglia which is that pregnant belly that hangs over london. in our centre there are realistically only three husaberg riders and the other two are from the next village.
i haven't mentioned it but i've just done the last two weekends on a 520EXC from '02 and it's been a real pleasure to hit the button and go! i've been doing my mates suspension for him while he's down on the med and when he gets back he's going to love what i've done i hope.
my husey is still in bits as i only received the last correct gear for the bike 9 days ago which was too late to race it last sunday and quite frankly i had other things to do as well as making sure my mates sussies were in good order.
so i parks up today next to my partner who has a GG200 and also next to 'big jim' and chris. both ribbed me about 'leaving it alone' etc etc but big jim's '03 501 appears to have chewed something horrible after 45 minutes and he packed up at lunchtime.
in the meantime the they both agreed to share chris's 450 '04 in the afternoon sesion. chris did 300 yards and it locked solid....
i suspect that BJ has had a balancer bearing pack up whilst chris will have had a bolt or something come loose and fall in the primary drive gears i reckon. jim said his had started to vibrate and sound rough and chris said 'zilch' 'nothing' then just locked.
now this really looks bad doesn't it? between the three of us we are always breaking down with something and don't get me wrong - so do many others!
out of three other teams i know of there, two broke down and indeed my partners carb fell off and i ran out of fuel 300 yeards from the lunchbreak. it does happen....
i'll keep you informed as to what it is that goes on if i can (the season has finished and we don't phone and blow kisses...). i didn't volunteer to help jim especially due to my recent record as you can i'm sure understand!
regards
Taffy
