hey, i think the fuel tank is limiting the turn radius on the 650, i have the 11 or 12L thank im not sure if its 11 or 12. but i read somewhere that there is a 7,5 liter tank too ?

so does anyone know where i can get a smaller tank for my 07 650? if there are any

You prabbly have a 10.5L (2.8 gallons) the 05' and earlier bikes were 9l.(2.3)

I think I had to back out the stops just a lilltle bit to get an 06 tank on my 05. The tanks are very similar where the forks are at full lock.

You could try a heat gun on it I suppose. (´?_?`)
 
ok, is the 7,5L the same size where the fork locks too ?

anyone know where i can buy a 7,5 litre ?
and i live in the middle of norway
 
Interesting.....
On my 05', the fork will come in contact with the radiator long before the fuel tank.

damnit, i just checked mine, on the throttle side it touches the radiator before the tank. i didnt know that, but on the clutch hendle side its the tank that hits first. but now i see that a smaller tank wouldnt make a big difference
 
well the 7,5 L tank is proboably thinner wich gives you more place to move your feet while doing wheelies and such.
