small crack in frame

have a fe501e , 2000 - the front right motor mount is starting to crack around the weld. , ( where the mount is welded to the frame ). what is the recommended method to weld the frame , i have assess to a mig , any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.. thanks ....

I tend to prefer TIG for welding on anything where you don't want too much metal buildup. While MIG is faster on larger jobs, on small jobs you have to be good at welding using that method to get it right as soon as you strike an arc. I also find better control of the finished weld with TIG.
