Slipper clutch & clutch 03-08 into 02

At some point I want to into install a slipper clutch into my 02 550, I know they changed clutch and cover design for 03> I know I would need whole cover assembly water pump & main gear shaft

So thinking out loud here, probably would not have to up-date cover, just clutch & gear shaft ?

Unless later clutch would not fit behind earlier 00-02 cover ?

Suter & STM do they use factory clutch basket ?

does taffy make a kit for that? I know he makes a shim kit or something to make neutral findable for *some older bikes and also thought i remember him saying that you can add a slipper clutch to it from the later bikes as well, i could be wrong but maybe still worth a look?**

I am running a suter slipperclutch for the 2004+ models in my 2002 supermotard.

Also using the 2004 clutch cover.

Running an Adler atpc 04+ on my 2001,2001 clutch cover
No probs !
Just have to change the cluch pushrod

What's the part number for the Adler & where to buy it, I've only found KTM applications, guessing 1 of the 400's the same ?
