having trouble tracking down some info. working on an 09 FE450 (wife's bike)

I found in the parts book part # 0770300015 30.00mm x 1.25 NBR70 Oring. but I couldn't find if this is actually the Oring within the slave cyl, or if this is the 1 on the trans case side.

anyone able to help tell if this is the Oring in the slave? or anyone know the part # for an Oring that is for the 1 in the slave or the correct dimensions? (book just shows the piston assy)

No, that is the o-ring on the slave spigot. Take off slave (1 minute) remove piston, stick rag in hole, take piston and o-ring to bearing shop, buy 2 or 3 o-rings in Viton. Clean out bore, lube new o-ring with mineral oil or ATF, back bleed with syringe, job done.

Sorry, can't seem to copy the thread, but search "clutch slave o-ring" here and 2 KTM part numbers come up with exact sizes.

54832067000 is one of them, but bearing shop ones will be cheaper if you access to them.

Used a 23,52*1,78mm quad ring/x-ring for the Magura clutch slave cylinder of my '12 70 degree bike and it has been working great (since March 2019). You can use an O-ring of similar size (like it has stock) but I decided to use a quad ring since it it more stable for sliding sealing. I quickly ran the numbers of the groove and bore through the calculations and the stretch/squish/gland fill were all OK.
