Size of valve adjustment locknuts on 2001s

Anybody knows the size of the valve adjustment locknuts on the 2001?

Me thinks 8mm but its been awhile since the last adjustment. Can you ride in this heat?
 
Don't know but on the 2000 the "#200 021-01 valve adjustment locknut -89" hex is a 10 mm, flat to flat. Height about 5mm and thread pitch 0.75, I think.

The designation is NUT M6X0,75

Thanks, Joe. Indeed, M6 but did not know about the thread. Decided to take a model to the store and get 4.
