That funny little race track at the bottom of the
I notice a picture of engine breather mods with one breather blanked off. I was told that in general more breathing helps freer revving. i.e every rotation of crank means 644cc of air must be displaced and then replaced from under the piston. In fact it was an easy mod for klx300's years ago. Is this right or should i go sit on the toilet? any input (about breathers not toilets).

i run 2 reed valves instead of the 1, crankcase is under vacuum but oil mist is retained in the gearbox/rockercover or better lube of the rocker arms.

and yes 1 breather tube, engine is 693cc not much comes out the breather. if your not running a vacuum 2 should be better

Bewdy fruity. cheers 4 that bushie. makes good sence. had forgotten all about the drag racers scavenging. reed valve makes sence now.
Unrelated... any good liner replaters over your side of the tasman. found one crowd in UnZud. theyve never done a berg tho. measurements are measurements tho.

i would keep with two breathers. I've never understood the reasoning behind that other than a little oil splash.
