I have an 05 FE450e
I would like to put signal lights on it
Does anyone know if the wiring harnes is pre-wired for signal lights?
Has anyone put signals on their Berg and how or what did you use?
I also would like to put a high low headlight on it.
Any ideas?

The USA bikes are not pre-wired for turn sigs.
There is a euro wiring harness available part#80011075500 (80011075600) will also work fine)
Most of the Bergs are made street legal here and we use all oem parts to do the conversions.
 
The easiest approach is to buy the KTM/Husaberg Euro wiring harness. It makes a simple plug and play exercise regarding signals, high/low beams, brake lights, etc.

I don't know the part number, but just give BOSS a call and he'll hook you up with what you need.

It isnt a big deal. We have installed a few DS kits in the past.

FastEddy is going to put one on his 08 FE550 that arrives next week.

Unfortunately the wiring harness is on b/o until January.

Glad it's snowing, gives me lots of time to get everything setup the way I want, blinkers and all!!! :)

I don't recall the costs, but the oem setup is cleaner than most kits and less expensive as well...unless compared to do it yourself harnesses, etc.

BOSS is an acronym for Bozarth's Offroad Service Specialty. Rick Bozarth is a regular on this board, and is a well respected 'berg dealer, rider, cheerleader, etc. I get my parts from his shop in Portland, OR. His phone # is 503-255-8971.
 
Does anyone know if it is possible to order the "#1" section (just the front bit) of this harness (either 5500 or 6500) separately from the full harness with all the pieces?
