Show of support for John Prior ORANGEBERG

As an avid supporter of the Husaberg product, John's probably got 10k worth of berg clothing and apparel in his store so why don't we start there by buying most/all of it. As we've all said here, he's not to be lost as he cant be replaced. :? Whether it be a pair of grips or oil filters you require, send John an email as the postage to wherever you are is all the extra cost it will be. You'll probably save that much getting them off him the postage will be negated.

The same thing is happening right now in Canada to one of Canadas best known KTM dealers.

check ebay ive seen a lot of his stuff on there i purchased some gear off him and i contacted him, he said that he has about 80k of gear to clear including used parts and Ktm parts and bikes which will be used to clear up arrears, i think he just deserves a bit more time.
 
As a Husaberg dealer myself, I doubt the"newly appointed national dealer manager" has anything to do with John's situation. The problem it seems is the arrears owed to GE Commercial and is as simple as that. It cannot be fixed until the account is bought up to date. GE floorplans are great BUT need very strict management. Sacking dealers is certainly not in the best interests of KTM/Husaberg Australia and in my experience they would have done all in their power to help John get the bikes on the floor. Obviously their hands are tied on this one. If John is getting KTM bikes they must have been paid for in advance and not on floorplan. As someone else stated, it's business, not personal and certainly not from anyone at KTM/Husaberg Australia. I hope John gets through this and wish him well.

Just for thoughts here...

I am all for John keeping his dealership for sure, I met John at the '08 force ride, and he is a top guy, verry involved in bergs, personally knows them inside out, and has some of the best spannermen to work on them (and thats not to take anything away from any other dealers), but whats to stop Orange Husaberg & Ktm from working in conjunction with another dealer to consolidate and increase their combined buying power and in turn ensuring their combined position in the market?

any comment on that? anyway I hope H'berg Aust are 'listening' to the noise on this site, because customer satisfaction and testomony counts for a hell of a lot, and John is held in very high respect with 'Berg people' all over the country, and indeed parts of the world where people have used his waterpump kit, so its not just limited to NSW Australia.

John, keep on keeping on, were all backing you on this one.

John has been a great guy to deal with, we have both sent parts over to each other and his bearing upgrade has been a bike keeper for many.

When Jimmy Lewis was having problems with his water bearing failure, John sent the parts gratis to him right away no questions asked.
Jimmy concluded the series of articles on the Berg enthusiastically.

Hope it all works out in the end John, you have been great support for our bikes..

Will the support package the Govt is putting together to help out the car dealers financially extend to motorcycle dealers??

If it does I hope some of it goes to Orangeberg
 
Does anyone know the whereabouts of John Prior 'ORANGEBERG'

Wondering if anyone still has contact with John and wether he is still working with bikes ? If anyone can provide contact details I'd appreciate it...
 
He is "orange motorcycle service centre" (02) 63601974. Telstra only just connected his number so it may not be listed as yet.

You are right but the telco got it wrong and changed it 63601964 after i advertised
