I have a question.
Why are you wanting to bypass the starter relay?
Is it to test starter? If yes: Run a test line from battery positive straight to starter positive wire and the starter should work.
Is it to bypass the relay and run the starter directly from the switch? If yes: you are looking for big problems as the harness will not handle the current load and you can melt wires.
Is it to test relay? If yes: take the relay out and test it directly (A simple schematic to test can be made available)
But moral here is not to run it without the relay as the relay acts as a bridge to heavy wires that can handle the load and the switch wire can not handle this load and will fry, Thus the reason for a relay.
There should be no reason to bypass a relay in any trouble shooting techniques as this can hurt the wiring system.
If it is some other reason, please note as it might be a simple fix that someone has done.
Sorry but I was just curious to why?
