Hi all. I have read the sticky on suspension and the basic rear coil sag stuff makes sense. 35mm bike sag and 110-120mm with me sat on. if i have understood right.

however i have a couple of questions.

  1. do i have to take the rear shock out to adjust or can it be done while its in?
  2. What are the clicks people talk of?
  3. Is the adjustment done just on the turn of some spring compression dial or is there a rebound setting too?

sorry if these have already been answered, the terminology is a little confusing or appears in another language for someone who know the first thing about it.:eek::spin:

Cheers

Alex

afaik the 70-degrees need the shock pulled but it's easy with the right method

the clicks would be the compression/rebound adjusters - on either end of the shock (plus highspeed compression nut which is measured in turns from fully in)

do you have a manual? it shows this pretty well! available for free in the manuals section on here! somewhat hard to notice that section - check the front page, link in nav tree sodebar on left!

Just a point to touch on ,
Different weighted will have the suspension set up different and there's also different springs you can buy
