Service Intervals

Good Afternoon,

I am new to the forum and just thought I would seek some advice off you seasoned pro's!

I have recently purchased a 2004 Husaberg FE450 800 miles from new/30 hours. I have cleaned the bike up and put fresh oil in/cleaned the air filter etc. The bike goes like a dream and I am really happy with it. The bike has done around 5 hours worth of riding (road riding as I have supermoto tyres on at the moment) so far in my care and I am just thinking about the service intervals and what not! Just for peace of mind really!

Any guidance or information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again!

I ride my 2008 FE450 sumo only on the street. I do oil change every 5h if ive been riding really agressive otherwise every 7-10h with full service oilfilter change every other oil change. Airfilter i clean when i do the full service.

I always look at oil color, and feel just to look out for wear and oil has pretty much looked fresh everytime!

Thanks for the advice mate, I think I will need to change the oil then as I have been riding pretty aggressive :p

If i remebered it correctly the service intervall is ~15h in the book but oil changes are still pretty cheap and it depends on riding style i guess.
