My friend Stefan who is one the two riders for the Swedish Husaberg supermoto team did his first laps around our local track this saturday.
It looks quite nice so far, don't you think.
Mods so far are, CF wheels obviously, Magura brakes, SXS Supermoto forks, rear shock fixed for SuMo, Akra slip on and a gorgeous DevTech swing arm. More mods later on with ported head, decals etc etc.

I haven't ridden this beauty yet but Stefan, the owner, says that compared to his 74rwhp 644 beast it lack some power but not as much as he'd expected. He'll probably take it for another run or two before the polar bears start to hit the streets and then take it to the tuner for some massage of the head and so on. I expect an MMC con rod as well.

Hi Jocke, will your friend come to Italy for race or training? I would really meet him...and his beatyful Berg! :bounce:

I don't know about Italy this year. Last year they went to Italy for some training and met Iddon and some of the other seriously fast guys. I know there are plans for a two week training camp in Spain though. Winstanley and some more brits will be at the same camp if my info is correct.

That is a cool ride indeed, what tires are thouse? Thank you for the post.
Not 100% sure but I'd say those are Dunlop rain tires.

sweet bike! how the hell do you lift it up on that stand?
Well..... For us Vikings it's not that hard :D 8)
And the owner is some 192cm / 100kg I'd guess and there is not a single gram of fat on him. The bike looks like a moped when he rides it.
The bike has gotten a few upgrades since last time. A new Suter slipper clutch and a ported head. 62-64hp on the dyno, I don't remember exactly. It is on its way to Spain as we speak for this years pre season camp together with, apart from all the swedes of course, Winstanley, Chris Hodgsson, Keith Farmer, Will More and some more fast brits.

I think those are Dunlop rains.
Take a look at http://www.enginehardware.se for prices. In SEK (swedisk kronor). I think they are just over 30.000 SEK which would be some €3000.

I'm glad you found this old thread since the bike has been mine since january :bounce3: :bounce3: :bounce3:
Right now, unfortunately, it sits in my small garage without subframe and tank while I'm tring to find out why it isn't running properly
Up 'till last race it has been an absolute dream. Maybe a bit down on pure power compared to my prevoius 650's but handling etc is superior.
I've been switching between slicks and knobbies all year, first rides was on ice so I've really used it for everything possible.

M8 we were going to call it a day but After taking 3 months off,and returning to race at cadwell park in the last british round,we won all three open elite races, start to finish,so we are now getting ready for the winter uk series, good luck your self and your bike looks great,

Cheers. I saw some pics of Iddon from cadwell. Being English I only wished I'd had a chance to run that track! Saw the pics of a massive wipeout too, looked painful and prob due to oil on the track from someone who popped a motor. I'm about to drop some coin on the bergos pipe.
