SEM STATOR - KRIS REWINDS

I'm one of those that still ride old BERGS, so for me the SEM stator still is a problem

I've been running rewinds for some years, they are better the new but even then they don't last forever

Lately I've been having some problems with cracks on the stators with very few hours, after it happen twice to my stator I dicided that the stator was out for good, it was so bad that the cracks went even to the charging coils side, found another one and rewind it, that one was left on the shelf.

After some time I read this post from Kli:

It was very good news, not even we had another source of rewinds, but it also had a flexible coating. So I thought, this might be a solution for my bad stator, contacted KRIS and gave him the challenge, that he accepted.

So now I recived it, the stator comes with one gasket, its still untested but here are some pict of it:

One competition it allready won, it sure is the ugliest one I ever saw :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Hi

I have now ride with this startor 2 times without any problems, it starts well and runs like it should, so far everything is good, now only time will tell...

Other thing, the gasket also works very well, even after I wash the bike its still dry, so good idea Kris :wink:
