Hi Husaberg people i have a problem with a husa FS650 2001-2003 model not strong spark on the plug and SEM stator not in good contition (like this i bye the bike)i'm trying to start up but nothing i have 2 SEM but not in working order any opinion???
You can send your SEM to Bradford Ignition/Motoplat UK and have it rewound. I recently had a KTM SEM rewound and it's better than ever and more reliable than stock ever was.

I have this stator as suggested by Taffy and is a great replacement, not had any issues at all (bar my own in-competence)
Speaking of which, Taffy do you have a diagram of the connections from this stator to the regulator? I believe I have a yellow spade connector disconnected and wasn't sure where to connect it to
Everything works as it should apart from the tail light which hasn't worked since I've had the bike and a new one has been installed.

Karsten, as much as I know it's in my interests to say this I hope youu know I wouldn't lie to you. But a used stator is a total liability because old SEMs have a habit of working for 1-10 hours and stopping.
many a man has pulled an old Husaberg out of the corner of their garage and started it. Oh yes! that bit is fine, they even do one or two nice rides on them but after two-three hear cycles they pack up and Euro180 for something that does 1-10 hours seems expensive.
I hope others will testify to this?
