SEM startor cracking

Hi,

I have been riding around 40 hours with the new SEM stator which re-placed the last year failed stator. This seems to crack-up from inside. It works but the cover falls apart. Have anyone seen this behavior before?

you can have a good 'un or a bad 'un-you just don't know where your lck is.

Mikst, I think your problem may be a battery getting a bit tired. Old batteries will take a higher charge current for a longer time. Your stator is probably getting got and cracking the potting compound.
