SEM ignition coil

Hello all

Bike is FS650c '02. After a long winter in garage do not show any signs of live (no spark).
Stator and vires ok. Man with good electric thinking says the problem is with ignition coil (dead).

Anyone had this problem before? Is it rear or not on berg's? Is any other aftermarket coils or something to put in SEM place? Or I slould search for original SEM only? Any other sugestions?

Hi

I have one strange story like yours also, so you're not the first.

Try the CDI without the spark cap, just the wire and you might have luck.

I only know one replacement and it's from HPI, the thing is that I have tried several times to get my questions answered but never had the luck and I have too many doubts about it, so I will not advice that.

If you don't have any luck with it send me a message and I will repair it to you for a decent price.

Yes, already tried without cap. And with new cap instaled - no signs of any life.

Repair? Is it repairable?

Yes, 90% of the times it is worth repairing, and it will be like new.

It´s just a box with some parts inside..

The problem is just getting inside

Thanks a lot ZAGA

I have some firends very good eletircs and I will try to ask help first of them.
Maybe will have some more delicats questions later about what problem to search inside (burned wires? or atc.)

Will search ways to eliminate sem too. If find any good replacements will mesege you.
