Seat?

They have not got the 09 section up and running yet it appears but, I do have a tall soft from them and it is noticeably softer than the stock 09 tall seat. From the looks of the 2001-2008 line up, you have your choice of tall or stock height soft or hard, stepped or not, and a couple of different seat covers.

I have their seats on my other two bikes, the 01 and 04, and they have proven to be quality products. The seat cover for the 09 that I got is real quality piece, mine is the one with the ballistic nylon in the knee area.

Observations: The stock Husaberg tall seat is pretty firm, but, it breaks in pretty good. But the fact that it stays firm maintains the tall dimension that I was after in the first place. And, for racing, where I'm constantly transitioning from sitting to standing, this is a huge plus. I have the Guts tall soft, and I tried it out in the garage, and while definitely more comfortable for sitting, the seat to peg difference is noticeably shorter than with the stock tall Husaberg seat, as is how much more my legs are folded. I think the Guts seat will be great for trail riding for long hours, kind of like the EE all day seat. I'll be giving the Guts seat a go next weekend and will report back after that ride.

I made a tall seat from a EE tall soft seat from a 08 & later KTM for my 09 450 FE that seems to work pretty good. The EE seat foam is a pretty close fit along with a little doaner foam from the Husaberg seat foam and the stock Husaber seat pan. I just glued the EE seat foam to the pan, shorted and contoured the foam at the end and recovered with a new EE tall seat cover. Would have prefered a blue seat cover but overall I'm pretty happy with it until somebody makes one for our bikes.

I spend way too many days rideing too suffer a hard seat, I am considering spending the big bucks and buying a Renazco custom seat, but their delivery time might put me off.
