Seat pan plastic type

Hi guys my 2011 Fe570 seat pan has split near the edge and am wondering if anyone knows what Type of plastic the pan is? had a look for markings and couldn't find anything and also have done an extensive search on the forum. Just asking before I take the seat apart any help appreciated

It is very likely glass fiber reinforced nylon given the application. If you cant find a polymer ID mark who knows though. Are you wanting to confirm in order to select the correct adhesive to repair it?

I would just consider buying a new one if you are going to be replacing the cover. They are surprisingly cheap if you apply a discount code with AOMC

Thankyou very much for the info! Yes was going to weld it back together, might try and get a new one just figured they couldn't be bought new as I tried finding a whole new aftermarket seat with no luck
