anyone else have trouble keeping the seat from coming unhooked at the front? happens at least once a ride for me...almost seems like the tank isn't back far enough as there is a gap where the seat and tank meet...everything seems installed correctly on the tank...although it is always a ***** to get on..

I had mine pop off once in the middle, but not the front. I was trying to prevent the bike from tipping and grabbed the seat and it popped partially off.

This last time I reassembled my bike I had a really hard time getting the seat back on. I don't know if something is out of alignment, or if I torqued the seat pan when I changed the foam and cover. I am hoping it will mold back into place by sitting for a few weeks. But I also had a hard time getting the 6 bolts lined up in the subframe bracket (not sure what it is called), so I wonder if something got tweaked in my last crash.

mine does this all the time. make sure the lower seat hooks are stuck into the seat when putting the seat back on!! I had too shave down the hooks on the frame rail, to a point, to insure they male end slides into the holes on the seat.
