Do the Seal Savers require the zip ties? I've never used them before & had the shop install them when they replaced the fork seals. I was looking at the Seal Saver website & it mentions using zip ties to secure them. The shop didn't install any, are they required, or do some not use them or???

A friend just installed a set on his ktm... they slide down all the time... use the zip ties.

seal savers suck, buy "Shock Sox" more money but they use a velcro system

1.) you dont need to remove your forks to install
2.) you can take em off to clean your seals after a bad muddy day cause even seal savers let mud get up there.

I'm a distributer for them locally now. I keep a dozen here at home and some with me when I trail ride for friends

they are 24.95 + shipping thru this link tell Kevin I sent ya.

( if your up in Folsom, I can sell them 2 bucks less and no shipping cost)

Thanks, guys. Forgot to ask, do the zip ties go on the tubes also? In other words, both ends of the Seal Saver?

bigbob, thanks, looks like I may be getting some if these don't work.

Zip ties go on the top only. The lower part needs to allow the fork to slide up and down freely.

I used Seal Savers on my KTMs after growing tired of blown seals, and they worked, but the Shocksox seem like an improvement on the idea, so I just ordered some for my new FE450 that I'm getting next week.
