Scott's damper on 09's

Installed a scotts steering damper today on an 09 450.The stock frame mount from
Berg part # 770-12-005-144 with an under bar mount the customer wanted from
scotts part # 3015 same as 08. With the scotts damper unit! Bars can be used in all
four positions as well!!

Scott's is a great company to deal with BUT...They are not the people responsible for putting this package together. They do not offer a post or a mount for the 09' Husaberg.
BOSS is the one with the foresight to use Scott's damper along with one of their mounts for an 08' and incorporate the 09' Husaberg stem post to make this package come together. Tip of the hat to you Rick.

Scotts is going to have a complete kit ready to go within 2-3 weeks according to the guy I talked to on Wed.

I found both Scotts and BRP very good to deal with. We dont get either, over here in uk.
Luckily , i shipped all my bits over when it was $2.2 to Ã‚Â£1 GBP

I have the 3015 mounted now and have inspected the play at the post suggested by Scotts and by Boss..... They are correct. Although it is not much, There is some.
