Did 30 odd miles this morning.

Mostly lanes but there was about 5 miles of off road tracks but the amount of snow about made the lanes interesting.

Spotted a few tracks I fancied going up but being solo and thinking if something happens Ill probably only be found in the spring once I started to defrost I gave them a miss.

Snow varied from an inch or 2 to a couple of feet.

A Few hairy moments where, because of everything being white and looking flat, I hit some frozen drifts and was nearly launched over the hedges.

Tyres worked really well had it up to 60 a couple of times and was happily cruising at 30-40 through the snow, though spending much time above 40 and the wind chill started to make things uncomfortable.

Tyre wise didnt loose any screws from the front. From the rear I lost about 20 but they were all the half inch ones I used to fill in gaps down the centre of the rear. The 5/8 screws done the centre are all there.

Very distinctive noise when on tarmac so it gave you a warning to change line to ice or snow

Buy the end I was confident enough to start drifting the rear out a little around the corners on the run home.

Heres a link to some photos I took.

Great stuff Cypher, some cracking countryside you got there. Please tell me you fitted the spikes is anticipation of a little snow this winter! Thats some mighty fine weather forcasting, you might want to make your skills know to the met office lol.

Infact youve inspired me to get the berg out in the morning and go do the same, my saturday has so far revolved around tv, internet and cakes.
