Sorry if this is an old topic, but I did a search and didn't find an answer to my question which is this:
Is the front mount really required? Two locals here didn't use it and swear you don't need it. The reason I ask is that the mount doesn't seem to work with my rad guards and I'd like to keep them on. I only run dual sport trim for 3 months a year, the rest of the time, I'll just be using the stock tank - race trim.
What do you think?
