can't see beyond the all blacks but they are susceptable to aussie and SA play. i'm afraid europe-with the exception of the irish on a good day - won't be doing much this time. and i'm sorry froggy but les bleu are in that catagory too!

Don't forget they play at home and nobody gave a chance to the soccer team in 98 either, looked what happened.

all blacks have got to be favorites, but when it comes down to the grand final, the best team on the day wins ,not necessarily the best team of the competition.
i won't be betting any more than a 6 pack on the aussies for a win.
..weed..

Well the Aussies always come in shape and with a real team, but their game is totally uninspired and looks like an ugly patchwork. Their centers always look like the only thing they do is look for contact and play like forwards.

By the way I got to meet Nick Farr Jones, he lived in my town in France and he came to practice with us once in a while. Great guy, great player, great skipper, in my mind best #9 ever (not wearing a blue jersey that is).

To beat the All Blacks you need a great defence and must be able concentrate for 80 mins. Who has that? Aus, SA and France if they have belief. Injuries wiil play a great roll as well as experience. I have to be patriotic and give SA the best chance to beat the Blacks.

RE: wales

The only channel to watch the cup in the States is Setanta on Dish and it's an Irish channel.

I am starting to know the Irish lineup by heart. I bet they can beat France too.

RE: wales

unlucky froggy!

well at least they didn't implode like everything else french when they are losing! i thought that the game was very close but it will take rugby akin to what they were both doing last night to win. switching and criss crossing as you break a defence down.

anyway usa v england tonight.

maybe they'll make you watch your adopted country froggy as some form of punishment!

anyway, everyone knows it's australia's turn to win it!

87
91 australia
95
99 australia
03
07 guess who!

Stop gloating Taffy, Cricket season is just around the corner in Oz.

That ought to make you happy.

your green and gold friend Azza.

South Africa really impressed me, I mean England sucks these days with their failing all for Wilkinson tactic (oh yeah, he is injured and a spectator now), but they're not the little team. I bet you even the US can score at least 3 points against the Boks.

Obviously we're going to see South Africa and Australia in the last 4, I don't bet on France unless they beat Ireland and Namibia with *a lot* of points and Ireland beats Argentica, no way can France beat NZ in the quarter final.

Oh and I am glad the Irish commentators on Settanta don't have a crappy Limerick accent.

Have fun!

that's what i like about you froggy - always positive!

england were worse than awful - they were dire! as a nation we can't take risks, we think we've made it just by getting in the team, we're bogged down by profit making and greed, we have nothing but foriegn players milking it which kills the home grown lads from having a chance.

i think SA are looking good again because they believe!

and the welsh were beaten up by an aussie front row. i mean WTF!!! that really is the end! (LOL!)

87-10, feeling a little bit better now and they proved they have the physique.

Ireland: you're next.

Talking about foreign players playing in England, did you see Captain's Caveman try "a la Lomu"?

yes and it was a good try! i love his sense of direction because there is no way he can see where he is going!

So, we see you in Paris, then?

Long, very long flight back home to Australia and New Zealand.

well it'll keep the whinging aussies quiet for a week! the england pack was on top of their game and due to such a poor start for both france and england everything has got better since!

i didn't think the next game was at parc de prance though? marsielle? not sure on that one!

i can't quite believe the all blacks are out! france were brilliant. now then: all blacks in gray T-shirts and france winning "away" from home! i think the french played with 'abandon' or as we would say gay abandon!

so it's fiji v scotland in the other semi then is it? (LOL!!!!) i think the argies are a REALLY good team and i fancy them to take the 'boks!
