NZ robbed of nothing, they were not as good as they were told, and France realized they could turn it around by stopping playing like an uninspired English team, looking for penalties kick and drop goals, and ending with a multiple of 3, and running with the ball instead.
Being lighter in the front, they needed to run and gain momentum, which is what they did. The ABs being heavier in the front, they needed to attack in the front, but slow and steady, which they did as well. The difference is in the number of faults committed on each side, and although the French tackled something like 178 times vers 30 something, they gave very few penalties and that's one thing you can give credit to Laporte for (and I am not a fan of his).
I think it was a very interesting game because these were two very different teams but of equal strength overall and in the end it's just about who wants to win the game the most.
I have not seen the England vs Australia game yet.
