Rubber/nolothane engine mounts???

Hey guys, I thought the vibration on my berg was annoying before, well I just borrowed some motard wheels off a guy from work that has an FS650 and put my 49t sprocket on the back, now when I sit on 100km/h the vibration even irritates my feet in motocross boots, and after a 20min ride I have pins and needles in my balls. I brought the ktm PHDS and a scotts damper, but there is still a fair bit in the bars, enough to make me want to do something about it. (Funnily enough he said his wasn't as bad, could be that he was running a much smaller cog on the back)

So what I'm thinking is copying the current design, but making it bigger around the mounting holes and drilling them out and installing a rubber or nolothane bush with an insert in the middle for the bolt to go through, however this seems far too simple thinking for me not to have seen it anywhere before, is it likely to make a difference? I can't see strength being an issue as it's not really a high load just vibration.

Anyway someone smarter then me tell me I'm wrong before I give it a shot!

is your chain tension right?

a loose chain will do this.

I rest my chest on the seat, pull the swing arm up with one hand towards me and feel for only about 20mm of slack with the other hand.

Wow, I just got the manual out and adjusted it to spec, it was waaay too loose. I got new tyres put on within 2 months ago and "chain adjustment" was on the receipt. That ******* hopeless workshop strikes again.

Taffy as always your a legend, really looking forward to the ride to work tomorrow now.
