I am really fired up about that new BMW bike. Stainless steel frame and the long swingarm set up with the constant tension chain. If they would just put a Husaberg motor in there....still very sharp bike for a Beemer.

There's that one video when the guy seems to do a great job on the steep hill climb, then the camera pans right to see the next rider...a few seconds later a KTM 300 two stroke comes dropping from the sky! Holy ****!

Thats awesome...and I watched all the vidoes at cornergrass...pretty cool stuff.

Truth be known I am a selfish ******* and I need to buy a dirt bike for my girlfriend...I was thinking a KLX300 would be perfect but she wants orange and KTM makes either a 250 or a 400 in 4 stroke. Beemer has a chip to knock the horse power back to 30 which would be great for her...and put the power chip in it would be a fun bike for me. Plus 3 years warranty and fantastic financing to boot...but if someone on here could convince me that she wouldn't damage herself on a HUSA 450 then well the decision would be easy.
Anyways my comments weren't comparing the BMW to the Berg, I was just saying that it's a very impressive bike, and coming from BMW it's a giant leap forward for them as far as a serious attempt at a lean and capable offroad machine.
