Rollover Sensor reset

Does anyone know what the procedure is for resetting the rollover sensor after you have laid the bike over? Mine is a USA 2011 FE 570 S. Every time I lay it down, I can't get it re-started. I have read enough to come to the conclusion that it is the rollover sensor preventing it from starting but can't seem to re-set it when I need to. I turn the ignition switch off and on several times as has been suggested but to no avail.

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Steve

FWIW, I too have a 2011 FE570S and do not have this problem. Mine will restart immediately.

Not what I was hoping to hear Ruger  I have been doing everything possible not to take it back to the dealer but I think I might have to. We have a 6 month warranty on the 570 S right??

Right. Six months only. I wouldn't be bashful about this, as it is this kind of thing that warranties are for. You might as well have him check the bike from stem to sturn. I took mine in for a hydraulic clutch problem and while they had it they discovered that mine was idling too slow and reset the idle speed.

I had an issue with my 390 the other day. Wouldn't start after i tipped it. Unsure why, my guess was the rollover sensor, but i have had no issues with it before. I was thinking it may have not reset instantly. Does anyone know the location of the rollover switch on the bike?

i have layed mine down quiet a few time and never had a problem restarting it.
the sensor is by the battery box. :)

thanks for that. now i know where it is, i can try bypass it if it gives me grief in the future.
