REPOSTED THIS UNDER MECHANICAL; NOT SURE HOW TO DELETE OR MOVE THREAD

Hey

I recently bought a 2010 Husaberg wich used to be road legal, but the former owner tried to outrun the police, I now have to prove from dealer that my husaberg is running on the A2 mapping 11 HP and top speed 90 km/h.

Have anyone heard of someone in a similar position, or know how to remap and get the documentation hopefully in Sweden or Norway

best regards Kim

Hmm, I haven't heard about these being A2 mapped so I can only guess, but I assume it would involve a restrictor plate or throttle pin, not just mapping. However it's done, it's probably very similar to limiting a fuel-injected KTM. There might be more info out there about that.

thank you I'll look into that, but hoped someone in here had the parts laying around, further research has led me to belive its restricted in the air intake and exhaust

On my EU registration card it says 8kw, I believe it comes stock with a catalyst where the header pipe enters the muffler..

If they do a rolling road test that is certainly not enough to limit the power. I cannot imagine this engine running 11hp, a side valve lawnmower tractor engine is the same cc and is 12 hp or more..
