Hello,

Simple question (from a simpleton, no less, ;)) - looking for bar risers that would work with my setup:

Have seen these: Pro Taper Universal Bar Mount Kit - Motorcycle Superstore

But wanted to ensure the funky Husaberg handlebar offset thing didn't have peculiarities I should be aware of.

Also, if I go for the 3/4" rise, will that require longer throttle cables.

thanks,

cm

Basically you are requiring a higher bar mount by the looks of it. Just go by the clearance needed. You can buy mounts off eBay also.

With my 570 I rotated my throttle so the cables are underneath.

Best place is to look on theyr website ...it doesn't cause any problem regarding trottle cable ( lt wasn't for me) ...I had a few problem as I was using the mounting kit from a rmz but when you buy from them with the model of your bike it will bolt in right away

Thanks.

Yes, I know I'm looking for bar mounts ... lol.

And yes, the website of a given mount/riser will indicate what make/year/model their risers fit - the question was more around the particular combination of submount AND riser(s) in question.

I had a similar issue with the KTM 690, where not all risers played nicely with the particular submount I had, even though each individually, were correct for the year/make/model. I'm looking to prevent that happening here.

I think I'm sorted, though - thanks

I never had any kind of problem when buying with the exact model ...the one I remember was that the top mount was one peace and needed to be machined to fit from rmz to husaberg also the ''lip'' from the damper needed to be cut ....that's only apply to my case

If you had problem in the past regarding risers I will personally stick with what they are offering on theyr website (BRP) rather then going with a pro taper
