Riding near Lemoore California

Well i have been lucky enough once again to get a free trip to USofA with my work. This time i will be spending six months in Lemoore California. I will be arriving there in April 2009. I know it is a long way off but i thought i might start planning now.

I am thinking of buying a bike and possibly a aports truck so i can get about whilst i am there.

Can anyone give me some details of the riding around the area

You'll be close to Clear creek a great riding area. I hope its still open when you get here.
In the summer it saver to ride in the Mountains( read dust warning).

squizz, I live about 45 minutes from there, If my bike does not sell, I will ride,the berg other wise it will be the XR400, I would be glad to show you around. The sierra mountains to the east of that area have LOTS of 4 wheel drive and riding trails, It can be a bit rocky some times but at least it is cool in the summer, If you are there in fall or spring clear creek is A LOT of great riding, Ba Humbug on the dust warning, It is just the greenings trying to wear us down. Asbestos is a CA State rock, it is everywhere, unless you ride sweep every day, all day, all summer, for a few years, you might, MIGHT, have a reason to be a bit concerned... otherwise ride on...

squizz is a gentleman and an excellent rider. His visit to Las Vegas was enjoyed by me and tuts and he is always welcome here. Have a safe and fun ride together.
It always pays to plan in advance, but 20 months?

excellent rider ehh, umm.... well he may be better off if i just tell him where to go.

In have some really good riding buddies that i can hook him up with...
